The Nicholas School of the Environment offers exciting educational opportunities for Duke undergraduates interested in the environment (from both a science and policy perspective), in earth sciences, ocean sciences, and natural history. State-of-the-art resources at the Duke Marine Lab near Beaufort, N.C., and Duke Forest, near campus, set the Nicholas School's facilities apart. A variety of educational opportunities such as environmental study abroad programs, research, and internships give students hands-on experience in their fields of interest. Through Trinity College of Arts and Sciences, students can pursue the following undergraduate degrees: BA in Environmental Sciences and Policy, BS in Environmental Sciences, and BA and BS in Earth and Ocean Sciences.
