FOCUS
ACADEMIC ADVENTURES FOR THE INTELLECTUAL
The Focus Program (FOCUS) introduces first-semester students to interdisciplinary learning and intellectual engagement both in and out of the classroom. Faculty and students work together to apply multiple disciplinary perspectives on a common theme or topic within a cluster –and first-semester students in each cluster live in the same residence hall. Weekly seminars, dinners, field trips, and service projects are in store as students explore clusters like Cognitive Neuroscience and the Law, Genetics and Genomic Studies, and Knowledge in the Service of Society.
